September 26, 2003 -- MICHAEL SALEM is making sure that cross-dressers who attend the Harvey Milk HS have proper wigs, high heels and corsets. Salem, whose mail-order business caters to drag queens and she-males, is donating his wares to the school's transgender department. Salem, a cousin of the late Milk - San Francisco's first gay mayor - is also giving the school long-lost photos of young Harvey, as well as images of Milk's mother and father he discovered on old home movies. None of the pictures have been seen outside the family. |
